Art Fundraiser recap
Thanks to everyone who made the art auction and opening a success--the artists who donated such amazing work, event mastermind Alex Fleck, silent auctioneer Julie, Studio 34, and the countless volunteers who hung artwork, sold raffle tickets, babysat dogs, moved heavy objects, and (not surprisingly) found homeless kittens. We had a lot of fun and won some freaking cool art, and we hope you did too. If you couldn't attend or just didn't win the piece you wanted, art will remain on display (and for sale if it didn't sell last night) until June 27. Go check out the show!

Some of the 100+ pieces in the show

The crowd of art-lovin' catladies and harm reductionists arrives!

Live music--also donated by talented artists!

One of the artists in the show, Ryan Murphy, with friends Matt and Linus

Event mastermind, Alex

No art auction to benefit kehtenz would be complete without Kyle Cassidy, who donated more than a dozen photographs!

Everyone needs some lolcat buttons

Our fabulous raffle attendants (thanks, Nikki and Jesse!)

The formerly homeless kitten who managed to find his way to the event. He knew where to find the suckers!

He is now living at City Kitties HQ and is either named Pickles or Kyle Cassidy, depending on who you ask.

I felt it was only right to bid on a piece named City Kitties 15. And I won!

Everything went so well. What an awesome event.

The more I look at that piece you won the more I both love it and am disturbed by it.

Thanks for all your help, and glad you had fun too.

And yeah, I LOVE it! Everytime I look at it I see something new.

Damn that looks like fun. I would have gone had I not been an Atlantic away :)

I can't believe that a homeless kitty came to the event!
How did I miss this?

Not sure! He showed up early in the evening, brought in by [info]genderwarrior, and spent the rest of it in his own private suite, getting vists from guests.

That event looks amazing. What a lucky cat! Did he just show up outside the door or what? What a story for his future adopter!

Your buttons are amazing. I still have several that I ordered all those years ago, and the "Little T" magnets that you so kindly added to the order (for free!) are still on my fridge! I love 'em. :-)

You know, we sold some Little T buttons--they just don't say Little T anymore, they have our website on them instead. But it's still most definitely Little T!
